Parma have sold the most expensive player in Serie A to Juventus, according to the online transfer market, with a move for Roma’s Rossoneri midfielder Alessandro Del Piero complete.
The Bianconeri signed the 32-year-old from Roma for €1.2m on Friday, and he will sign for Juventus for an initial €4m.
The Bianconero have been linked with Napoli’s Leonardo Bonucci, but Parma confirmed on Friday that Del Pierolo will be joining Juventus.
“I am delighted to confirm that we have signed Alessandro to Juventus for €4.7m,” Parma president Claudio Lotito said.
“This is a very good signing for us and it’s an example of the kind of player we want to have here.”
We have seen the potential of Alessandro and it was a natural progression for us to have him join Juventus.

Del Pieros best move would be to leave Parma and join Juventus.
The move for Del Pierolo comes just a day after Roma announced they had sold Parma midfielder Alessio Florenzi to Napoli for €2.8m.
