
The Kansas City Chiefs have hired digital marketing consultant Zach Crain to work with the team’s digital marketing department, the team announced Tuesday.
Crain has a background in online marketing and was previously with a number of NFL teams including the Denver Broncos, Green Bay Packers and Atlanta Falcons.
He was also a former NFLPA digital marketing executive who helped the Denver Nuggets and Washington Wizards.
In his new role, Crain will oversee the digital marketing strategy for all Chiefs digital departments including social media, email, and video content.
He will also help develop analytics to better understand what drives consumers to use digital channels like Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
In addition to his current position, Cains role also includes consulting for several other Chiefs digital efforts, including the Chiefs new digital presence on the Chiefs website.
Crain has worked with the Chiefs on numerous digital initiatives, including their social media efforts, player engagement, analytics and analytics for player ratings.
