Hacker News article HackerNews user michaelbennerts submitted this article about how to use Google Analytics on his website.
He says he’s using the new analytics tools to track his blog traffic and see how the blog is performing.
He’s using analytics to see if there are any spikes in the traffic coming from his website, and then he’ll look at what his audience is saying about the blog.
“If I can understand what people are saying, and I know where their attention is coming from, then I can decide if I want to make a move with the traffic,” he said.
He said Google Analytics can be used to make an impact on your blog’s traffic.
“The more people that are saying something, the more traffic I’ll get from it,” he explained.
“I know what they’re looking for, so I can put more work into my blog.”
